Our Story
Form First was created with the sole purpose of teaching others how to move and function at their highest potential whilst protecting their most valuable asset, the human body. The human body is not only complex, its ability to adapt to situations is remarkable. This is both a blessing and a curse. When the body gets injured, it adapts to injuries and creates new movement patterns. This is referred to as a dysfunctional movement pattern This leads to more pain and potentially more injuries. These dysfunctional movement patterns can easily be improved, if not completely corrected. The only tragedy is that we are not born with an owner’s manual. Form First is your blueprint to a pain-free life.
Form First was designed to specifically teach each client how to address their specific movement distortions. In doing so, the pain will dissipate, posture will align and performance will improve, greatly.

Hunter Schwietz (Founder)
Hunter is certified through the National Academy of Sports medicine with certificates as a Certified personal trainer and a Corrective Exercise Specialist.
He started his fitness journey in his teenage years with the pursuance of losing weight and building muscle to feel more comfortable in his skin. Throughout high school and into his college days, he continued to pursue vanity by using traditional weight lifting techniques that left him with aches and pain and less than desirable function. After having three knee surgeries, with his function dwindling, he let go of what he thought he knew was right and started to pursue human biomechanics in order to achieve a life free of pain and instability.
Now, with his newfound love for life, he has created Form First in order to help those who are seeking to improve their bodies’ potential.
When Hunter isn’t working with clients, you can find him on the boat fishing with his three older brothers, spending time with his parents, and playing with his dog, Harley.

What is a Biomechanics Specialist?
I focus on correcting my client’s posture in order to reduce pain and prevent injury. Once the posture is enhanced and pain is no longer an issue, then I focus on their gait and the quality of their movement leading to increased performance.
